Community
For more than 20 years, the City of Victoria has given me so much. Giving back to this wonderful community feels deeply important to me. I’m grateful for the connections, opportunities, and sense of belonging I’ve found here over the years. Being able to support and contribute to the community that has supported me feels truly meaningful.
Community Reiki
In March 2026 a small group of Reiki practitioners offered our first Community Reiki event where we made this beautiful and transformative healing practice accessible to everyone.

Community Reiki is an affordable, accessible treatment style where multiple practitioners provide Reiki treatments at the same time in a shared, semi-private, tranquil space. Each practitioner works with one client at a time during a 50 minute treatment.

New Roads Therapeutic Recovery Community
As part of Our Place Society, New Roads is an integrated addictions centre that provides support for people recovering from addictions.
Once a month the brave women living at New Roads welcome me into their home to provide volunteer Reiki treatments. These Reiki treatments provide moments of relaxation, reflection and self-connection and support their healing journey. It is an honour and a privilege to work with these courageous women.
Self Care Café
Island Health
Each month, the Self Care Café visits 3 hospitals in Victoria to offer employees a community of nourishment and reconnection through art, meditation, guest speakers, and more. It was created for staff, by staff.
It is my absolute pleasure to give back to our health care community by offering them volunteer Reiki treatments through the beautiful Self Care Café.
